Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national-level exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) twice a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers in Classes 1-8. We are the best institute for CTET CLASSES IN DELHI/NCR REGION.

CTET Selection Process:

 
        # The examination authority of CTET states that the minimum marks required for the eligibility of the test are 60%. Since there are reservations in the test, minimum marks for eligibility vary among the candidates of reserved categories.
 
#  Aspiring applicants from scheduled caste, scheduled tribes, other backward classes, and specially-abled categories are offered a relaxation on the basis of their respective categories.

CTET   Marking Scheme:

Candidates can go through the following CTET  marking scheme that has been mentioned below: 
  • For each correct answer, candidates are awarded 1 mark.
  • There is no negative marking in the entrance exam.

CTET   Eligibility Criteria:

CTET Paper I Eligibility Criteria (Classes I to V):

The eligibility criteria for CTET Paper - I exam   can be checked below -
  • The candidates who have passed Class 12 exam with a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved categories) of marks and have passed D.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) course are eligible to register for CTET December 2020 exam. Candidates who are pursuing final-year D.Ed course are also eligible to apply for CTET  exam. (OR)
  • Candidates who have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% of marks and have passed B.EI.Ed course (Bachelors in Elementary Education) are eligible to register for CTET exam. Candidates who are pursuing final-year B.EI.Ed course is also eligible for CTET exam. (OR)
  • Candidates who have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% of marks and have completed D.Ed in Special Education are eligible for CTET exam. Candidates pursuing final-year D.Ed in Special Education course can also register for CTET exam. (OR)
  • Candidates who have passed Bachelor's degree and B.Ed with a minimum of 50% of marks are eligible to register for CTET exam.
 

CTET Paper II Eligibility Criteria   (Classes VI to VIII):

CTET Paper II eligibility criteria   can be checked below -
  • Candidates who have completed a Bachelor's degree and have passed D.Ed course are eligible to register for CTET exam. (OR)
  • Candidates who have passed Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% of marks and have passed B.Ed can also register for CTET exam. (OR)
  • Candidates who have passed Class 12 and B.EI.Ed with a minimum of 50% of marks is eligible to register for CTET exam. (OR)
  • Candidates who have passed Class 12 and have passed B.A. B.Ed/ B.Sc B.Ed integrated course are eligible to register for CTET exam. (OR)
Note: Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ Differently-Abled categories will be given a relaxation of 5% of marks in the minimum marks required in educational qualification.
